Dr. Nordstrom was born and raised in Missoula, Montana. He grew up with the influence of dentistry from his father, the late Donald Nordstrom, who specialized in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Nordstrom has been practicing in Alaska since his graduation in 2004. He began as an associate working both in Anchorage and Wasilla. He ventured into opening his own practice in September of 2008 and became a dentist Wasilla trusts when he established Nordstrom Family Dental at its current location.
Molly has always been active around the Valley coaching youth sports, supporting local theater/arts, and volunteering for community events. She stays busy traveling to New York to visit her son Payton, an aspiring stand-up comedian/ writer, helping her daughter McKinley with her Miss Teen Alaska USA 2018 and Miss Alaska Collegiate 2019 appearances around the state, and trying to keep up with her youngest son Heath’s passion for all-things fishing and his busy basketball schedule.
Mandy Johnson RDH
Dr. Nordstrom earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Montana State University-Bozeman in 1999. He was accepted into Creighton University Dental School where he obtained his Doctorate in Dental Science in 2004. Dr. Nordstrom is currently a member of the Alaska Dental Association and the Mat-Su Dental Association.
In his spare time, Dr Nordstrom enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and flying. He has a great passion for the outdoors and is fortunate to be able to live and work in a place that allows him to enjoy both.

Molly Heath McCann RDH
Mandy was born and raised in Palmer, Alaska and graduated from the UAA Dental Hygiene Program in 2013.
Mandy joined Nordstrom Family Dental in the fall of 2013, which is one of three local offices, in which she is employed. Outside of working, Mandy enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. They spend their free time living and loving Alaska by hiking, biking, rock and ice climbing, fishing and camping.

Molly was born and raised in Wasilla, Alaska and graduated from UAA Dental Hygiene program 1999. Molly joined Nordstrom Family Dental in 2013 when Wee Care Pediatric Dentistry (Dr. Kelly Maixner DMD) opened for business in the same office as Dr. Hans Nordstrom DDS. Molly was thrilled to not only continue caring for the patients of Dr. Maixner, many since 2008, but to call the patients of Dr. Nordstrom her own as well.
